Owner and Therapist: Hello World! My name is Nicole Gibbs, LCSW and I am the owner and creator of Hope Psychotherapy Services, LLC. I have over 15 years experience providing therapeutic interventions to youth and their families. I have been practicing for the past seven years as a licensed therapist. In April 2020, I had a vision to create Hope Psychotherapy Services, LLC to help push and encourage people to be great.
I am willing to help you work through many of life's challenges without judgment or making you feel uncomfortable. We can work on resolving difficulties from the past, while learning how to cope with the present, to create a better future.
I am comfortable working with people across all ages and backgrounds. I am especially driven to help the adolescent and young adult population. I believe all people deserve the chance to be heard without judgement and possess the ability to take control of their lives so that positive changes begin to happen.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware, a Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in February 2014.
Some of my hobbies and passions include mentoring children in need of positive role models, volunteering at local schools and I am also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
My Name is Keyonda Brown, LCSW and I have been a therapist with Hope Psychotherapy Services, LLC since June 2020. With over 10 years working in the mental health field with diverse populations,” I want to continue helping other’s reach their full potential. Hello, My name is Kimberly Burtt, Supervisee In Social Work. Beginning in 2013, I have worked in various settings in the Social Work field. This has included working with children, adolescents, adults and families with mental and physical health needs. I received my BSW from Longwood University and my MSW from Walden University. I aspire to become a LCSW to continue to collaboratively help and empower people to handle life challenges. It is my belief that everyone has the ability to adjust, change or grow. To get through those challenges, I want to support the individual to recognize the strengths and skills already there by utilizing different approaches.
Hello! I am LaShae, MSW, Supervisee In Social Work. I received my bachelors and masters in social work. I have a passion for assisting children and young adults with navigating through their trauma. Throughout my experience, working as a child welfare worker in Norfolk and Suffolk Virginia and interning as a behavioral health worker, I realized there are a lot of people who experience trauma and have not been introduced to the proper tools to overcome their struggles. I went into social work wanting to change the stigma associated with mental health. Anyone can experience something in life that can trigger and impact their life. Trauma has no preference and can negatively affect anyone from different ages, race, gender, and ethical backgrounds. I am working to show people that they are not what happened to them. Things will happen in life but the power and beauty comes from how the individual responds. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Integration Therapy. I hope to continue to gain more experience and become licensed as a clinical social worker to motivate and inspire.
I will be conducting all group session with Hope Psychotherapy services, LLC.
